Vision for the project
To integrate technology for early detection and suppression of ignitions in deep bushland. This will encompass:
- Coordination between different technology levels
- Integration of multiple data streams through Algorithms and Data Fusion, supporting high-level decision-making
- Human-Machine Interaction studies to ensure that technology supports existing human Command, control and communication structures
Research
Research involves scoping the data products and data visualisation tools that will most support fire agencies in dealing with ignitions in deep bushland. The Centre is working with agencies and technology providers to evaluate and identify the best approach to integrating technologies.
